LUDHIANA: Gangster Kanwar Randeep Singh alias S K Khraoud, who is lodged in Tihar Jail, could not come to Ludhiana as Delhi Police cancelled the plan on their own and informed the city police. Delhi Police was supposed to bring Khraoud to Ludhiana on Tuesday. Ludhiana police commissionerate got his production warrant for questioning in connection with the killing of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh alias Sidhu Moosewala.
S K Kharoud was arrested from Uttar Pradesh in a joint operation by Delhi Police and Punjab Police in September, 2022. Son of retired Punjab Police ASI, Khraoud is a close associate of dreaded gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar.
Inspector Beant Juneja, in-charge CIA-II said, "Ludhiana Police got the production warrant of S K Khraoud. We had informed Tihar Jail authority and Delhi Police as well.
We said that Ludhiana Police would come to bring Khraoud from Delhi to Ludhiana, after which he was supposed to be produced in a local court for his police remand. However, Delhi Police asked us to arrange security at Ludhiana court complex saying that Delhi Police would bring him to Ludhiana.
In the morning, the plan to bring Khraoud to Ludhiana was cancelled but they did not tell us the reason. It is strange that at the last minute, they refused to get him here. We will get his production warrant again as questioning him is important."
Earlier, the official said that two main conspirators of Moosewala killing, Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar arranged weapons from different areas.
