In a stinging criticism of the state’s elected representatives, former BJP spokesperson Dattaprasad Naik said that Goa’s political leadership has let the state down. Naik said that the ongoing blame-game between the opposition and the government is childish and will not help prevent Karnataka from diverting water from the Mhadei river basin.
“It can clearly be seen that Goa’s interests are being sacrificed for the Karnataka elections. None of the 40 MLAs of today can be seen as strong leaders,” said Naik. “We are cheated by the political leadership today.” tnn
