UPMRCL conducts recruitment exam

Kanpur: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL) on Monday successfully conducted the recruitment exam for 142 executive and non-executive categories.
On day one of the two-day recruitment drive, the exam was conducted in two shifts. The first shift was held from 9 am to 11 am with about 63% attendance and the second shift from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm with about 75% attendance.
In the first shift, a Computer Based Exam (CBT) in online mode was conducted for the posts of account assistant, assistant manager (civil) and assistant manager (S&T). The second shift exam was conducted for the posts of assistant manager (Accounts), assistant manager (Electrical) and junior engineer (Civil).
The exams for the posts of JE (Electrical), JE (S&T) and HR assistant will be conducted on Tuesday. It will also be held in two shifts.
A total of 7461 candidates have applied for 142 different vacancies in the executive and the non-executive categories for both technical and non-technical posts. UPMRCL is conducting this recruitment exam in 15 cities of Uttar Pradesh, including Kanpur. A total 63 centres have been given responsibility to conduct the exam.
