Youth Fest to be held here from January 12 to 16. Chairing a meeting to monitor the preparations here on Monday, he said over a dozen states were batting to host NYF, but the Centre has finalised the event to be held in Dharwad. Therefore, there should not be any shortcomings, and the committee formed to overlook the preparations should meet once in two days and finalise the preparations.
By hosting this event successfully, it will be an advantage to Dharwad, he said. A total of 17 committees have been tasked with jobs. There should not be any problem is logistics, stay and food facilities. The venues identified for NYF should be kept clean and provided with basic facilities.
