Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Tuesday at 11:16AM

ZUARIAGRO(up 2.46%), Rama Phosphates(up 1.73%), & Fertilizers(up 1.16%), Agro Phos(up 0.57%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 0.47%), Sikko Industries(up 0.44%) and KRISHANA(up 0.38%) were among the top gainers.

Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 5.84%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 4.99%), National Fertilizer(down 3.46%), Madras Fertlizers(down 1.61%), & Petrochemicals(down 1.34%), & Fertilizers(down 1.02%), Aries Agro(down 0.75%), G S F C(down 0.74%), Fertilizers (down 0.59%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.57%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 36.0 points up at 18233.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 111.1 points at 61278.89 at around 11:16AM.

HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 4.4%), SBI Life(up 2.22%), Axis Bank(up 1.18%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.14%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.06%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.02%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.96%), Bajaj Auto(up 0.66%), HDFC Bank(up 0.65%) and Enterprises(up 0.62%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.74%), Tata Steel(down 0.67%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.66%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.56%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.56%), JSW Steel(down 0.55%), UPL Ltd(down 0.37%), Coal India(down 0.36%), ITC(down 0.35%) and Reliance Industries(down 0.32%) were trading in the red.
