2 BJP MLAs arrested during protest against 'attack' on party leaders in West Bengal

KOLKATA: Police on Tuesday evening arrested two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs — Anandamay Barman and Durga Murmu — in West Bengal’s Siliguri during a protest against the alleged attack on their party councillor and opposition leader of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
A group of BJP workers had organised a protest in response to the attack on Amit Jain, the leader of the opposition in the Siliguri civic body.
