23 IPS officers elevated in ranks

Jaipur: The state government on Saturday promoted 44 IPS officers, elevating 23 of them in ranks and giving the next level pay matrix to the rest. Additional DGP Rajeev Kumar Sharma was promoted to the rank of DG with level 16 in the pay matrix. Three IG (Inspector General) rank officials – Bipin Kumar Pandey, Alok Kumar Vashistha, and P Ramji – were promoted to the ranks of ADGP with the level 15 pay matrix. Six police officers of the DIG rank were promoted to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) rank with the level 14 pay matrix. The government also promoted 13 Superintendents of Police (SPs) to the ranks of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police with level 13A pay matrix. Three officers were also promoted with the level 12 pay matrix. Apart from this, nine officers were promoted with the level 13 pay matrix, three with the level 12 pay matrix, and six with the level 11 pay matrix.
