TIRUPUR: The state government has appealed to the public to donate funds for the establishment of a cancer care unit at Tirupur Medical College Hospital.
In a video clip shared on WhatsApp on Saturday, state minister for information and publicity M P Saminatham says that the state government is planning to set up a cancer care unit at a cost of 60 crore in a public-private partnership under the Namakku Naame scheme. So Rotarians, industrialists. representatives of other associations and the public must come forward to contribute money to the project.”
