Rishabh Pant was trying to avoid a pothole, says DDCA director Shyam Sharma

Delhi and District Cricket Association Director, Shyam Sharma, on Saturday, December 31, said that Rishabh Pant was trying to avoid a pothole when his car lost balance on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. On Friday, Pant suffered a horrifying accident when he was returning from Delhi to Uttarakhand. His car collided with the divider on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal. However, bus driver Sushil Mann, conductor Paramjeet and passengers inside the bus helped Pant, who was inside his car with bruises all over his body. The 25-year-old Pant, who was alone inside the car, suffered multiple injuries to his back, forehead and leg. Pant is currently being treated at the Max Hospital in Dehradun and there’s a chance that he will be airlifted to Delhi for plastic surgery.
