Man held with illegal firearms

Jaipur: The crime branch of Jaipur police on Saturday arrested a notorious criminal and seized two illegal firearms and a cartridge from him.
The accused has been identified as Jal Singh (28), a native of Karauli district. Police have also recovered two illegal firearms including a pistol from him. The accused was currently living in Ramnagariya area of Jaipur, said police.
According to police the accused had reportedly purchased the illegal weapons from two persons, who have also been identified, to sell them in Jaipur. Police said that efforts are underway to track down the other suspects who provided the weapons to the accused. TNN
