Kota: A 50-year-old man, who dealt with filling gas in balloons and selling the same, sustained critical injuries after his balloon gas cylinder blew off while he was filling the gas outside his house on a street in Chhawani Ramchandrapura under Gumanpura police station of the city on Saturday morning.
The blast was so massive that the vendor was flung about 4 feet high and pieces of his arms scattered everywhere.
Police reached the spot after 10 minutes and took the vendor, identified as Hansraj Sahu (50) to MBS hospital, where he was instantly put under treatment.
The incident occurred on Saturday noon when the vendor was filling the balloons outside the gate of his house.The impact was so intense that one of his hands below elbow was tattered, said circle inspector at Gumanpura police station Mukesh Kumar Meena. TNN
