Youth stabbed to death in Rajasthan's Bundi district

KOTA: A 26-year-old youth was stabbed to death by about five unidentified miscreants near a liquor shop at Laban village under Deikheda police station of Bundi district on Friday forenoon.
Angry villagers and family members of the deceased, identified as Hariom Meena, staged a demonstration by placing the body on the side of the Kota-Lalsot mega highway. They demanded removal of the liquor shop from the village, immediate arrest of the accused and compensation to the kin of the deceased. Traffic on the route was not interrupted, but Bundi SP Jai Yadav and the local SDM rushed to the spot and persuaded the demonstrators to leave.
Meena went to the liquor shop at Laban village for getting some changes of currency notes around 11am on Friday, some miscreants reached there on motorbikes and allegedly attacked him with knives.
