Kanpur Boat Club to open from 7 am to 7 pm till Jan 31

Kanpur: In view of fog, the Kanpur Boat Club will remain open for public from 7 am to 7 pm from December 29 to January 31. Earlier, the Boat Club used to open from 5 in the morning till 10 in the night. Neeraj Srivastava, secretary, Boat Club said that this decision has been taken due to high fog on the banks of river Ganga. “People can enter the Boat Club by taking tickets till 7 pm. By 8 o’clock everyone has to vacate the Club.This kind of arrangement was done so that no one should have any kind of inconvenience,” he said further.
The Boat Club was inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on December 9. Since then preparations were intensified here. The Divisional Commissioner informed that the fixed rates would be reviewed again after the next six months. Ganga Aarti along with laser shows will also be organized regularly among the activities of Boat Club. tnn
