Even Modi can’t overrule my decision: BJP ex-MP

Jaipur: In a 43-second video clip which has gone viral, ex-MP of Rajya Sabha and former state BJP president Om Mathur was allegedly heard saying that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi cannot overrule his decisions while addressing a Jan Aakrosh rally at Parbatsar in Ajmer on Tuesday.
The video can be heard him saying ‘Yeah galat fehmi mat palna, mein aab kendriya chunav samiti ka member hu, yeah Jaipur walla kaise bhi list bhejde, mein har goan ke nas nas janta hu (Don’t keep the misunderstanding, I am a member of the central election committee, it doesn’t matter what all list (candidate) is sent by Jaipur (leaders), I know all the villages inside out.”
The part of the statement which has not gone well with party leaders was ‘Mein jaha khuta gad du toh PM Modi bhi na hila sakte (If a take a call on something even PM Modi cannot do anything).
The report also said that he asserted that the CM’s face in the state will be decided by the parliamentary board of the part
y. “Parliamentary board will decide the CM candidate and everyone has to support it wholeheartedly,” said Mathur.
