BJP leaders on Wednesday paid tributes to former Union finance minister
Arun Jaitley on his 70th birth anniversary.
“Arun Jaitley-ji was an eloquent orator and a unique scholar of the law. He had a deep understanding of administration with the constitution. With his versatility, he made an important contribution to the development of the country by making the complex processes of law and economic sector simple and public useful,” tweeted Shah. “I bow to him on his birth anniversary,” Shah further added.

Dharmendra Pradhan, said, “A guru, guide and mentor, Arun Jaitley-ji was a sanctuary of knowledge and wisdom. Remember him fondly on his jayanti.”
He said Jaitley was an immaculate administrator and a fierce advocate of democracy who helped propel India on its growth trajectory.
Earlier in the day, a group of his old-time associates gathered at the Arun Jaitley Park, previously known as Panchsheel Park in South Delhi, to pay homage to the former Union finance minister, whose contributions to the rise of BJP were recalled by several senior BJP leaders on his birth anniversary.
Jaitley’s daughter Sonali Jaitley Bakhshi, wrote on Twitter: “Your words of wisdom continue to ring true, your warmth still envelops me when I need a hug. No matter where I go, what I do - I know you’re still looking out for your little girl.” Sonali, an advocate by profession, further said that she misses her father every day.
