Reports suggest that they are verifying Sheezan’s statement as to when did the two break up and the reason behind it.

The police are investigating if Sheezan backed out of the relationship citing religion and age. The police want to know whether he wanted Tunisha to convert to religion then he would marry and there will be an inquiry in this regard as well.

When ETimes TV got in touch with Sheezan’s lawyer Roopesh Jaiswal, he responded saying that Tunisha’s mom in medical reports had mentioned about her daughter trying to attempt suicide previously. He further said, “It’s part of the investigation and I wouldn’t be able to divulge much. Whatever facts are there are a part of the investigation. The deceased was having symptoms of depression and had spoken about her mental health problems. Even investigation officers are aware of it. There is no religious angle to it.”

The post-mortem reports have made it clear that she was not pregnant and died because of suffocation after hanging. The 20-year-old actress reportedly died by suicide by hanging herself in the makeup room of her former boyfriend and co-actor Sheezan Mohammed Khan on December 24.

According to reports, the two had broken up 15 days ago and then Tunisha went into a depression and was highly disturbed. Sheezan has been taken into custody for 4 days.
