Jaipur:
Rajasthan Berojgar Ekikrit Mahasangh (RBEM) on Sunday demanded that National Security Act be invoked in all cases of question paper leaks in recruitment examinations in the state. The organisation called for this measure in a letter carrying 11 demands that it shot off to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
“The government should investigate if there were question paper leaks in previous examinations. The confidentiality of RPSC (in setting of question papers, printing and distribution) should be investigated impartially. Ahead of the Grade III teachers’ recruitment examination and CET examination, the state government should start conducting campaigns and raids to put an end to the flourishing paper leak mafia,” wrote RBEM president Upen Yadav to Gehlot.
He also wrote that a system should be in place to ensure unemployed youths lodge complaints about fraud, cheating and paper leaks directly at any time. Strict action should be taken against those involved in paper leaks under the non-bailable law, he added.
RBEM also said fast-track courts should be set up to get the culprits of paper leak incidents punished as early as possible. “The government should appoint honest and dedicated IAS officers in institutions like RPSC and the staff selection board. Question papers should be printed at the government press only instead of being printed outside. The recognition of Jagriti School involved in the paper leak should be cancelled immediately. Coaching institutes involved in paper leak should be sealed at the earliest,” said the letter.
