Ashok Gehlot, while flagging off 167 new ambulances on Sunday, said that the state’s healthcare structure is fully prepared to deal with any challenge.
Since Centre has alerted on Covid in the backdrop of outbreak of virus in China, Gehlot said that in earlier waves, they had managed Covid well and Bhilwara model was praised by the entire world.
Gehlot flagged off 167 new ambulances, equipped with basic life support, from Amar Jawan Jyoti. All these ambulances will be deployed in various districts according to the requirement for further strengthening the basic medical services.
Along with the ambulances, he launched Ambulance Inspection Mobile Application, through which the effective monitoring of the movement of ambulances will be made possible.
The drivers were given keys of the ambulances and the nurses were provided with medical kits.The state has also taken lead in health insurance. He said in the entire country, only 41% of the population have health insurance, while in Rajasthan today 90% of people have been covered under Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana. He expressed need for generating extensive awareness to make people aware about the Chiranjeevi swasthya bima yojana to ensure that no eligible person remains deprived of its benefits.
While talking about the Covid-19 management, he said that excellent management of Covid-19 was done during the Covid-19 pandemic in the state. The Bhilwara Model of Rajasthan was praised by the entire world. The health structure of the state is fully prepared to deal with any kind of situation. He said that schemes related to health services in the state are being implemented.
