Man booked for attacking stray dogs

Ludhiana: A couple from Phase-III in Dugri area lodged a complaint against their neighbour, accusing him of attempting to kill a few stray dogs in the locality. The couple alleged that the accused tried to run over the dogs, broke their shelter and allegedly shot at them. Advocate Neeraj Chandel and her husband Sahibdeep Singh, of Phase-III, Dugri reached the office of the police commissioner. Inspector Madhu Bala, SHO, Dugri police station said, “I received the CCTV footage and called the man who said that the stray dogs had bitten his pet and tried to bite his children.” She added that an FIR was being lodged against the accused. tnn
