MUMBAI: Reacting to reports of an EOW 'clean chit' to BJP leader Mohit Kamboj, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Friday said the Shinde government has opened a clean-chit factory. Raut further said he has received a letter from Congress leader
Rahul Gandhi to join his Bharat Jodo Yatra when it reaches Delhi in two days. "I had decided to join the yatra when it reaches Kashmir, but will now consider participating in Delhi," he said.
"The Shinde government has opened a 'clean chit' factory...Tomorrow it will give a clean chit to (Karnataka CM Basavaraj) Bommai and then blame the 20 lakh residents of border areas...If you have the guts, file a case against Bommai...This government is running on the basis of a clean chit factory and relief scam," Raut said. He reiterated that Bommai was adding fuel to fire over the border row. "Bommai's tongue is wagging since Maharashtra CM and deputy CM are silent. This is an insult to the 12.5 crore people [of Maharashtra]," he said.
