JMC commissioner holds surprise inspection in city

Jaipur: Vishram Meena, commissioner of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) Heritage on Friday conduced a surprise visit at various wards under the corporation and took action against a few workers for not conducting the daily cleanliness drive properly.
According to a release issued by JMC (Heritage), the team led by Meena first went to Hari Nagar Colony and started inspecting the areas till the Pratap Nagar Colony. Enroute the team found garbage piled up at a few localities in Ramnagar Colony.
“The commissioner took immediate action against the inspector and sweepers of the municipal corporation. They have also been warned about stringent action in future,” said an official from JMC (Heritage).
However, officials claimed that the team was happy with the presence of officers on duty. tnn
