Actress Tunisha Sharma's co-star Sheezan Khan, who played the titular role of Alibaba, has been arrested by Waliv police who have registered a case of abetment to suicide. Actress Tunisha Sharma, who was currently playing the lead role of Shehzaadi Mariyam in Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul, died by suicide on Saturday (December 24). In the latest development, her co-star Sheezan Khan who played the titual role of Alibaba has been arrested by Waliv police who have registered a case of abetment to suicide.
Tunisha's mother had filed a complaint against Sheezan Khan, who was Tunisha's rumoured boyfriend. Tunisha's mother told cops that she was suffering in the relationship and that could have led her to take the extreme step. Her cell phone has been taken into custody by the cops.

According to police, the actress hanged herself to death on the sets of her fantasy-themed television show on Saturday. She was just 20.
DCP Chandrakant Jadhav spoke to the media and shared that the late actress' mother has filed a complaint against the show's lead actor Sheezan Khan for alleged abetment.

"Tunisha Sharma, who was working on the sets of Alibaba Dastaan E Kabul has died by suicide. She hanged herself. Her mother has filed a complaint against Sheezan (Khan) for abetment to suicide. Sheezan Mohd who worked with her in the show as Alibaba. (There were reports that she was pregnant.) There is no report on this."

The actor was taken to questioning and now is arrested.

According to ANI's update,"TV actress Tunisha Sharma death case | Police will investigate it from the angle of both murder and suicide. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot. Police are questioning everyone who was present on the set during that time: Waliv Police"

Earlier when the incident occurred, according to Waliv police, "Tunisha hung herself to a fan in one of the makeup rooms. She was rushed to the hospital immediately where she was declared 'brought dead'. Currently, her family is at the hospital."

A senior police official further stated that: "There is a Ramdev Studio in Naigaon where the shoot was on. Then there was a break between the shots when this actress went to the bathroom and then she hung herself there. People on the sets rushed her to the hospital where she was declared 'brought dead'. It is primary information. Our team is on the spot and they are investigating. We will take everyone's statement."

Tunisha was a part of many Bollywood films including Fitoor where she played the role of young Katrina Kaif. She was also seen in hit TV shows like Chakravartin Ashok Samrat, Internet Wala Love to name a few. She made her debut on TV with Maharana Pratap.
