Woman found dead with bullet injury in Dholpur, brother detained on suspicion

Jaipur: Three days after a woman’s mutilated body was found on a road under Daholi police station area in Dholpur district, police said on Friday that she was murdered and that she was shot dead. Police said her brother has been detained and being interrogated for his alleged involvement in the murder. The dead woman was identified as 32-year-old Pinki. Her mutilated body was found on a road in Kathumari area. “Her face was beyond identification as wild animals had eaten much of it. We found a slip on which a mobile phone number was written. We had also circulated her photo across Dholpur and in neighbouring Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. She was finally identified as Pinki, who had got married nearly seven years,” said Deepak Khandelwal, circle officer of Maniyan, to TOI. Police found that Pinki had been missing since her brother Ghanshyam Singh had visited her village and taken her along on December 12. TNN
