IPL Auction 2023 Live Updates: Sam Curran To PBKS For Rs 18.5Cr, Shivam Mavi To Gujarat Titans For Rs 6 Crore
IPL 2023 Auction: Sam Curran and Cameron Green shattered the all-time auction record as theywere picked respectively for Rs 18.50 crore and Rs 17.50 crore by Punjab and Mumbai Indians

IPL Auction 2023 Live Updates: New records have been set at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction with three-most expensive buys ever. England's Sam Curran and Australia's Cameron Green shattered were picked for Rs 18.50 crore and Rs 17.50 crore respectively by Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians. England Test captain Ben Stokes was picked by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 16.25 crore. Nicholas Pooran got the highest-ever price for a West Indies player as he was picked by Lucknow Supergiants for Rs 16 crore. The day started with Harry Brook going to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 13.25 crore respectively. SRH also bought Mayank Agarwal For Rs 8.25 crore. Among uncapped players, Shivam Mavi was picked by Gujarat Titans for Rs 6 crore while Mukesh Kumar was picked by Delhi Capitals for Rs 5.50 crore. This year's auction will see 405 players going under the hammer.

- 18:06 (IST)IPL Auction 2023: Jamieson sold to CSK, Sandeep unsold!Riley Meredith is unsold. Sandeep Sharma follows him and he too goes unsold. Taskin Ahmed comes third on the list with a base price of 50 lakh and none of the bidders is interested in him too. Dushmantha Chameera is next and he is also unsold. Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani also goes unsold. New Zealand's Kyle Jamieson becomes the only player on the list to be sold. CSK secure him for his base price of 1 crore.

Wayne Parnell follows Nabi with a base price of 75 lakh and he also goes unsold. James Neesham comes in next and he will also meet the same fate as of Nabi and Parnell. Neesham's base price was 2 crore. Dasun Shanaka is last on this list with a base price of 50 lakh and he too goes unsold.

Daryl Mitchell follows him but he goes unsold after setting a base price of 1 crore for himself. Daniel Sams comes in next and he has been sold to LSG for 75 lakh.
- 17:55 (IST)IPL Auction 2023: Travis Head, Mandeep Singh, David Malan unsold!Travis Head has set a base price of 2 crore for himself and none of the franchises are interested in buying him. The Aussie batter goes unsold. Mandeep Singh follows him. His base price is 50 lakh and he too goes unsold. David Malan comes next and he also goes unsold. His base was 1.50 crore.
- 17:53 (IST)IPL Auction 2023: Will Jacks sold to RCB for 3.20 crore!England batter Will Jacks had set a bcase price of 1.50 crore for himself. RCB and RR are interested in the player and that sees the bid crossing 3-crore mark in no time. Jacks holds an experince of over 100 T20 matches and his strike rate is over 150 in teh format. RCB lock him for 3.20 crore.
- 17:50 (IST)IPL Auction 2023: Manish Pandey sold to DC, van der Dussen unsold!While Ireland's Paul Sterling went unsold at the start of the bidding for international batters, India batter Manish Pandey is attracting good bidders. He has crossed the mark of 2 crore after starting at a base price of 1 crore. Delhi Capitals secure his services for 2.40 crore. Rassie van der Dussen and Sherfane Rutherford follow Pandey and they go unsold.

The side already has KL Rahul and yet they paid such a big amount for Pooran. These biddings are hard to predict and decipher at times.
