GURUGRAM: Police on Tuesday arrested two persons and apprehended a juvenile for allegedly shooting at a 49-year-old jeweller on December 6 in Sector 11. The duo has been identified as Vikram, alias Vikki, and Tushar, alias Gillu.
ACP (crime) Preet Pal Sangwan said, “Around 4.20pm on December 6, three armed men barged inside Trilok Soni’s jewellery shop with the motive of looting. They tried to snatch Soni’s mobile phone, but when Soni screamed for help, one of them fired at Soni, leaving him grievously injured. The trio fled immediately.”
Soni was rushed to Medanta hospital.An FIR under various sections of the IPC and the Arms Act was registered after police procured the CCTV footage of the crime.
Vikram and Tushar were produced in court and taken on police remand for three days, while the juvenile was sent to a correction home.
