Cake replicas star attraction at expo

Mysuru: Cake replicas of the new Parliament building, national emblem and FIFA World Cup by Dolphin Bakers is attracting people at the ongoing Gruha Shobhe, the living style exhibition at Maharaja’s ground.
Mohamed Nizar, managing partner of Dolphin Bakers, said people are thronging the expo to see the new Parliament House, which is also called Central Vista, that is made up of thermocol, fondant ice cream and food colours. With the help of six workers, we took 35 days to make the replica, he said.
The length of the Parliament replica is 12-feet high and the width is 4 feet and weighs around 560 kgs. Apart from this, the expo also has cake replicas of Titanic, sports car, FIFA World Cup and jersey, jungle theme, tree house, wedding step and castle. Since the start of FIFA World Cup, people are also demanding for a cake replica of the WC and football jersey, organisers said.
The ten-day exhibition began on December 16.
Nagachandra, director of Simon Exhibitors, said we are a trusted name not only among Mysureans but also across the state. “Hence to provide quality products under one roof, we are conducting this expo,” he added.
