Thiruvananthapuram: Technopark has achieved a growth of Rs 1,274 crore compared to last financial year in terms of IT export revenue. It has achieved export revenue of Rs 9,775 crore in the financial year 2021-22, which is 15 percent higher than the previous year. In addition, in the financial year 2021-22 has seen Technopark being recognized by the union government for filing GST tax promptly.
At present, the Technopark has 70,000 employees and hosts 470 companies with a total IT built up area of 10.6 million sq.ft.
In the last one and a half years, the Technopark allotted office spaces to 78 more companies covering an IT built up area of 2,68,301 sq. ft. In this year, during the period from April-Nov 2022, new office spaces were allocated to 37 IT/ITeS companies in a total IT built up area of 1,91,703 sq.ft.
Last financial year (FY20-21), Technopark's export revenue was Rs 8,501 crore.
