Four arrested for peddling drugs in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Four persons have been arrested by DJ Halli police in three separate drug-peddling cases since November 29. Police have seized 6.5kg of charas and 1.1kg of MDMA from them.
Mohammed Sufiyan Hussain, 26, of DJ Halli was arrested from LR Bande playground on November 29. He was allegedly trying to sell charas to the public. Police seized 4.5kg of charas from him. Hussain said he along with his associate Suhail alias Pappayi sourced charas from one Akash from Nepal.
In another case, cops arrested Allabakash, a resident of DJ Halli, on December 15 and seized 2kg of charas from him. Based on the information provide by him, police zeroed in on Barkat of Govindapura and arrested him. The two procured charas from Kerala.
In the third case, Syed Samroj was arrested on December 18, when he was trying to sell MDMA close to Goa Garden near Shampura railway gate. Police seized 1.1kg MDMA from him.tnn
