Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 14.07 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 13.68 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 6.96 crore), IOB(number of shares traded: 6.13 crore), UCO Bank(number of shares traded: 4.54 crore), Ltd.(number of shares traded: 4.32 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(number of shares traded: 3.88 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.15 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.84 crore) and Hind Const Co(number of shares traded: 2.60 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 52.35 points down at 18146.75, while BSE Sensex was down 156.12 points at 60911.12 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.94 per cent), .(up 0.71 per cent), .(up 0.69 per cent), .(up 0.62 per cent) and .(up 0.55 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While UPL Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), .(down 1.93 per cent), .(down 1.88 per cent), .(down 1.76 per cent) and .(down 1.74 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
