Girl jumps from Gol Gumbaz, dies

Vijayapura/Hubballi: A teenaged girl died by suicide after jumping off the Gol Gumbaz monument here, on Wednesday evening.
The police said they are yet to find out why Soundarya, 19, took the extreme step. “We are trying to contact the victim’s family. We can get details only after they register a complaint,” they said.
In Hubballi, a bike caught fire when a teenage bike rider rammed it against an earthmover on Karwar Road. Adil Shakeel Sikandar, 18, was killed on the spot, while Javed Shaikh and Khader Shaikh were injured.
