Evaluating DMRC tie-up for Bahrain metro bid: BEML

Disinvestment-bound heavy equipment manufacturer BEML Ltd is in talks with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to supply rolling stock for the Bahrain metro project. Amit Banerjee, CMD at BEML Ltd, told ET that the public sector undertaking is also expanding its offering for track maintenance gear, more efficient mining machines, and snow cutting equipment. DMRC has been exploring avenues to provide consultancy services for metro projects across the world.
