Restaurant staffer ends life, family lodges FIR

Jaipur: A 30-year-old man working at a restaurant in Vaishali Nagar area committed suicide by consuming poison on Saturday night.
ACP (Vaishali Nagar) Alok Kumar Saini said that an FIR was registered at the Chitrakoot police station under IPC Section 306 (abetment of suicide).
The ACP said that the deceased was identified as Abhinandan.
“The deceased worked in the restaurant and lived in a hall nearby with some other workers. He had consumed sulphate on Saturday night and was rushed to Sawai Man Singh Hospital, where he breathed his last during treatment. His brother also worked in the same outlet.” said ACP (Vaishali Nagar) Alok Kumar Saini.
“We have filed an FIR against the deceased’s employer based on the allegations that his family made. His family said he had been facing several and acute problems at work and had been feeling distressed due to these problems,” he added.
Police said that the allegations made by the deceased’s family are currently under investigation.
