Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann heads for Chennai, Hyderabad to get investments

CHANDIGARH: To propel industrial growth and attract investments, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann started his tour to Chennai and Hyderabad.
The chief minister reached Chennai where he will be meeting business delegations and prominent companies on December 19 to rope in investments and strategic tie-ups in key sectors. Mann will then be meeting captains of industry at Hyderabad on December 20.
This crucial two-day visit is likely to benefit the state in roping in huge investments, technical know-how and expertise from big companies.
The CM will be extending invitation to the industrialists for the Investment Summit being organised by the state government on February 23-24 at Mohali.
Mann said he will personally showcase Punjab as land of opportunities and growth to the entrepreneurs. The chief minister expressed hope that this tour will prove to be a milestone towards giving a major fillip to the industrial growth of state.
