Watch: Leopard enters Hetero’s drug manufacturing plant in Hyderabad

Panic gripped Hetero Group’s manufacturing plant at Kazipally Industrial area in Hyderabad after a leopard was spotted inside the premises, hours after midnight on Saturday. Alerted by staff, forest department officials swung into action and tranquilised the leopard. District forest officer Sridhar Rao said, they received a SOS at dawn after Hetero Group’s staff forwarded a video of a leopard on the prowl inside the plant. Soon, a team headed by retired deputy director of veterinary, Dr Naveen, and deputy director of veterinary at Nehru Zoological Park, Dr Hakeem reached the pharma plant to net the wild cat.
