Man fires at guard of society in Gurugram, booked
A man has been booked for allegedly firing at a security guard of a society in Gurgaon’s Sector 82 on Thursday. The guard Shivam Sachan ducked the bullet, police said on Saturday.
GURUGRAM: A man has been booked for allegedly firing at a security guard of a society in Gurugram’s Sector 82 on Thursday. The guard Shivam Sachan ducked the bullet, police said on Saturday.
Sachan called the owner of the security company HDS and informed him that a person named Ishwar is threatening and abusing the five security guards stationed at the gate of the society.
“I asked Shivam to hand over the phone to the man. But when I spoke to him, he even started threatening and abusing me. He said he would kill me if he ever sees me in Gurugram . Meanwhile, I heard a bullet sound on the phone," as the owner of the security company Aditya Ranjan told police.
The man fired a bullet at Shivam while speaking to Aditya. As the bullet was about to hit Shivam, he tilted his head and the bullet hit the wall. Soon after, a crowd gathered and the man fled the spot, said police.
Thereafter, Aditya reached the spot and took Shivam to Kherki Daula police station for filing a complaint.
Based on the complaint, the man has been booked under IPC sections 286 (negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance), 506 (criminal intimidation) and sections of the Arms Act.
“We are searching for the accused. He will be arrested soon,” said the police officer.
