Woman held for pushing 3 in flesh trade in Thane

THANE: The Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of Thane police has arrested a pimp for pushing a woman and two minor girls into flesh trade that were rescued by the sleuths from Kopri area.
The police said they had information that the accused was planning to give away the victims for flesh trade to the customers.
Accordingly, AHTC sleuths laid a trap near a road leading to Kopri colony.. “As the decoy customer started negotiating with the accused, the AHTC sleuths trapped her,” said a police officer privy to the probe. The police rescued a 28-year-old woman and girls between the age group of 16 to 17 years.
