Now, Sherlyn Chopra has reacted to the controversy. During a conversation with Times Now, Sherlyn said, 'The controversy is around the makers of Pathaan calling the Saffron colour Besharam rang. Why can't they get a headline on the merit of the film?' She further posed a question saying 'in the name of cinematic liberty, in the name of freedom of expression, is it permissible to label the colour saffron as Besharam Rang?'
