City police rescue cat, reunite it with owner
Ranchi: An SoS from a woman resident of Pee Pee Compound to Hindpiri police put the cops on an unconventional mission — to save her cat. The team of cops did it promptly to help it reunite with the panic-stricken lady, who, in order to save the feline, sacrificed her flight to Delhi.
Hours before she was to depart from Ranchi, Dr Sonali discovered that her beloved cat was missing from her house.
She later realised that it was held captive by a mentally challenged person in the locality who had locked the cat in a room. After pleas to release it went unheard, she then rang up the local police station seeking immediate help.
Police immediately rushed a team to the locality. SI of the Hindpiri police station, Vinay Singh, said, “After reaching the spot and asking locals, we ascertained that the cat was held captive by a person who is mentally challenged. But our team ensured its safe release.”
Talking to reporters briefly, the lady thanked the cops for the assistance. TNN
