Surat: Bridal jewellery set to bedazzle Sparkle 2022

SURAT: Bridal jewellery will be the main attraction at the three-day International Gems and Jewellery Exhibition 2022, Sparkle, beginning Friday at the indoor stadium here. The organisers want to cash in on the wedding season. The exhibition will be open to all and attract buyers from all segments of society. Over 100 women entrepreneurs will participate.
Over 30 jewellery brands are participating in the exhibition in which jewellery pieces starting from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 crore will be put up for display and sale.
Jewellery from segments like heritage, bridal, nawabi, fusion, polki uncut, Bikaneri Meena, Rajwadi, fancy diamond and anti-gold will be displayed.
“Jewellery displayed at the exhibition are designed in a way that it can be used by the buyers throughout their life. We are trying to take the jewellery manufacturing to new heights through the exhibition,” said Himanshu Bodawala, president of Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI).
In future, SGCCI is planning to take Sparkle to other big cities of India to provide a platform to city manufacturers. The organisers claimed that the jewellery to be displayed at the exhibition was being made for the past six months by expert designers and artisans.
SGCCI has invited around 500 families where wedding will take place in near future. These families will be felicitated at the exhibition.
