Karate contest held

Mysuru: Ajith Memorial Cup 2022, a state-level inter-school Karate championship was held at Acharya Buddharakkhita Auditorium at Mahabodhi School in the city recently.
In his inaugural speech, deputy commissioner Rajendra KV appreciated the Mahabodhi School’s contribution towards society over five decades in the field of education, spirituality and humanitarian services. He said karate must be included in the curriculum. “Women and children should inculcate this martial art,” he said. tnn
