Fix defunct med equipments: DM to SRN hosp

Prayagraj: Taking information about the number of patients being seen daily in the OPD and the availability of doctors at Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) Hospital, district magistrate Sanjay Kumar Khatri said that according to the capacity, more patients can be seen daily. He asked the medical officer in-charge to get all the medical equipment, electrical equipment, RO purifiers, water taps etc. that are defective in the hospital, fixed immediately.
The DM was reviewing a meeting meeting at Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) Hospital on Thursday.
Khatri, while making a check list of defects, has asked to check the equipments from time-to-time. It will be the responsibility of the concerned head of the department to get the faulty equipment of his department fixed as soon as possible if the health-related equipment and other machines get damaged.
He instructed each block-wise report by December 19 on how many machines are functional and how many machines are under maintenance. Regarding machines under maintainance, he instructed to get them fixed at the earliest.
In the meeting, the DM took information about the fire fighting and functioning of CCTV cameras installed at SRN and instructed them to keep them functional. The DM was accompanied by the principal of MLN Medical college Dr SP Singh and doctors.
