Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Friday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Akme Star Housing(13.71%), FACT(13.69%), Sakthi Sugars(12.92%), Simbhaoli Sugars(11.91%) and Global Vectra(11.08%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 238.43 points down at 61560.6, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 80.6 points to 18334.3.
In the Nifty 50 index, 11 stocks traded in the green, while 38 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , , FACT, and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , Inds., Dharmaj Crop Guard Ltd. and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
