It was not my social media post on late Veena Kapoor that caused the confusion, clarifies Nilu Kohli
Recent news of veteran actress Veena Kapur being murdered by her son shook the industry. But there is another veteran actress Veena Kapoor too, who is currently seen in the TV show Ajooni.

The two have the same name and this caused a lot of confusion, so much so that Veena Kapoor approached the police yesterday to help her with the harassment that she was going through. In a video released by a news agency, she said, "The mental torture that's happening with repeated calls, day and night, and even while shooting ruins the mood. I'm also unable to focus on work."

Actress Nilu Kohli has interacted with both the senior actresses. In fact she had put up a post for the deceased Veena Kapur. However, now some people have been blaming her for spreading rumours about Ajooni's Veena Kapoor.

Nilu spoke to us about this. She said, "The Veena Kapur I was talking about on my Instagram was different from the Veena Kapoor, who’s currently seen in Ajooni. I have worked with both of them earlier and I know that these are two different people. My post was for the person who met with a tragic end, her son killed her for property. I had worked with her on the show Bhabhi and I was in touch with her until two years ago. What happened was very sad and shocking."

Meanwhile, Nilu has been targeted on social media and some people are blaming her for causing the confusion. She said, “People on social media are saying I have gone crazy and have put up a post regarding someone who is alive. I want to tell them that there are two actresses with the same name, only their surnames are spelt differently. Somebody carried a wrong picture online and that caused confusion. I hope people have now understood what exactly happened."
