14.5L disbursed at rlys pension adalat

Thiruvananthapuram: The Southern Railway Thiruvananthapuram division conducted ‘pension adalat – 2022’ at the divisional railway manager’s office, Thycaud, on Thursday to redress the grievances of railway pensioners and beneficiaries.
M Vijaya Kumar, additional divisional railway manager, Thiruvananthapuram division, presided over the adalat in the presence of MP Lipin Raj, sr. divisional personnel officer and M Raseem, sr. divisional finance manager.
About 108 representations were received in the adalat, out of which 60 cases were disposed of in favour of the pensioners/beneficiaries.
An amount of Rs 14,54,943 was disbursed at the event as part of the grievances submitted by retired employees. About 80 railway pensioners/beneficiaries and representatives of pensioners association and unions attended the adalat.
