Urban Nomads organised a one-of-a-kind Web3.0 Residency Program, where Investors, Builders, Creators, and Enthusiasts gathered at Urban Nomads, Morjim. The founders of Urban Nomads, Nakul Rajpurohit, Navin Kishore Singh, and Amit Kumar, are building a platform that fosters co-working and creating a community.
Investors, founders, and community builders attended the Web3.0 Residency, mentored a bunch of builders and facilitators who were trying to create an impact in the Web3 space. . Some of them were Jason Fernandes, Aditya Arora, Raj Kapoor, Preetam Rao, Abhishek Krishna, Gaurav Mehta, Vaibhav Gupta, Cyber Shakti, Paras Pundir, Kiraan Mehta, and Piyush Maheshwari. Jason Fernandes says, "I was pleased to participate in the Web3 Residence program, both as a mentor and as a partner. I was impressed at the quality and complexity of the projects represented and was inspired by the infectious enthusiasm of the young entrepreneurs and developers. It would be a pleasure to support and launch projects born out of this event on their journey into the Web3 world."
Throughout the weekend, the mentors and founders delivered powerful sessions about their journey into Web3, Entrepreneurship, Tokenomics, Creator Economy, and Community Building. The program also witnessed an ideathon and pitch session where the builders were grouped to brainstorm ideas that could impact society at the grassroots.
The attendees belonged to diverse geographical backgrounds, pursued different career paths, and it was a good opportunity to interact with dozens of fervent Web3 folks at different stages of professional growth. From beginners to founders and investors with years of experience, the residency program gave networking a fresh start. There is a paradigm shift in the work-life balance in the Web3 space. Communities like these facilitate a culture of working and living together. The residency programs are an upgrade to the traditional meetups where people can not only meet and greet but also live and build together in the community living spaces.
