Kanpur: Ashwani Singh’s fine knock of 97 runs helped National Club beat South Gymkhana by 8 wickets and moved into the final of Satyavir Gupta memorial cricket tournament played at Kanpur South ground here on Wednesday.
Putting into bat South Gymkhana collected 165 runs in 34 overs. The highest 39 runs came from the bat of Ashish Bajpai who struck 6 boundaries and a six. Aman Tiwari claimed 5 wickets for 20 runs.
