CM: Drive on birth, death certs will be launched soon

Hubballi: Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai has said the ambitious project of delivering birth and death certificates at the doorsteps of people will take off soon.
The CM said there is some confusion between RDPR and revenue departments in launching the programme. “After sorting out confusion between the two departments, the programme will be launched across the state,” he said, while reacting to a TOI report on Wednesday, that highlighted the delay in implementing the programme.
“Soon, goshalas will come up in all districts. The related work was delayed due to some issues, which have now been sorted out. They will come soon in all the 30 districts,” he said.
