Velumani slams DMK IT wing

Coimbatore: DMK’s IT wing is spreading false information about AIADMK leaders, former AIADMK minister S P Velumani alleged on Wednesday.
Addressing AIADMK functionaries at a meeting held in the party office, Velumani said the wing recently spread rumours that AIADMK’s Singanallur MLA K R Jayaram was switching over to DMK. “Joining DMK is equal to committing suicide. DMK will not win even a single election in future. Udhayanidhi Stalin cannot save DMK from sinking by becoming a minister,” he said.
Velumani also hit out at chief minister M K Stalin, saying that the only achievement of the CM was to make his son a minister.
The AIADMK Coimbatore unit has decided to protest against the state government on January 3, 5 and 9, condemning price rise of essential commodities.
