Man axes wife to death in Bundi dist

Kota: A 25-year-old woman was axed to death by her husband after a scuffle on the intervening nights of Tuesday and Wednesday in Bhojgarh village under Basoli police station in Bundi district. Police detained the accused for interrogation and handed over the body to family members after a postmortem on Wednesday.
The murder came to light on Wednesday morning following which the police reached the spot and recovered the blood stained body from the room. The accused husband, identified as Soji Bheel (30), was also present on the spot. The accused, at first, misguided the police stating that the roof of the hut fell over head. However, on strict interrogation, he admitted to have murdered his wife with axe after a scuffle.
The deceased was identified as Panchibai, wife of Soji Bheel, a resident of Bhojgarh village in Bundi.
