15 stung by honeybees in Dahod

Vadodara: Honeybees stung around 15 persons attending in a wedding procession in the Pandadi village of Garbada taluka in Dahod district. Five of the injured persons had to be hospitalized for treatment. The wedding procession was to go to Varsada village from Pandadi. Loud music was being played on the DJ system and revellers were dancing to its tunes. It is believed that a beehive got disturbed due to loud music or some other reason. The injured were first rushed to the Abhlod primary health centre and some of them were then taken to the Garbada community health centre while five injured were taken to the Zydus hospital in Dahod for treatment.
